General Information
Students will learn how to summarize data using tabular, graphical and numerical techniques, understand basic probability concepts, properties, and problem solving, become familiar with common types of discrete and continuous probability models and expected values, and begin to apply these properties to samples of data for estimation (sampling distributions, point estimation, confidence intervals).
