Goals
Students will learn about discrete
multivariate statistics, including analysis of cross-classified data,
loglinear models for multidimensional contingency tables, goodness of
fit statistics, measures of association, model selection, and
hypothesis testing. Materials Required
- Introduction to Categorical Data Analysis, second edition, Alan Agrest (Wiley)
- Access to statistical software (e.g., Minitab, R, SAS, JMP) as well as ability to run java applets
