Goals

Students will learn about discrete multivariate statistics, including analysis of cross-classified data, loglinear models for multidimensional contingency tables, goodness of fit statistics, measures of association, model selection, and hypothesis testing.

Materials Required

Introduction to Categorical Data Analysis, second edition, Alan Agrest (Wiley)
Access to statistical software (e.g., Minitab, R, SAS, JMP) as well as ability to run java applets
