Research
Projects/Interests :
Over the past
fifteen years I have been providing statistical teaching and consulting
services to a wide variety of clients in many disciplines.
I teach undergraduate
and graduate courses in statistical methods with applications in
engineering, business and economics, agriculture, the life sciences,
the social sciences, and survey research.
I consult with
clients from diverse fields interested in utilizing statistical
thinking in their research projects.
I have extensive
experience teaching and consulting in two areas: 1) working with
organizations interested in using statistical thinking to improve
their quality, productivity and competitive position; and 2) working
with government agencies on large and complex survey research projects.
I also enthusiastically
volunteer my time to activities whose goal is to improve the quantitative
literacy, and thus the decision-making abilities, of the children
and adults in the community in which I live.
